We will meet at Benenden Memorial Hall where our guide, Lindsay Akerman, will give an intro talk to the walk. The walk will take about an hour over iron age routeways, iron age bloomery, later routeways, the culvert, examples of quarrying for different minerals at different periods and an illustrated explanation of a deserted medieval farm all within half a mile of each other is quite an intense historic and panoramic landscape. After the walk we will return to the hall for refreshment and some examples of relevant finds.
